University of Calabar (UNICAL) Admission Requirements 2026/2027
Below are the requirements you must meet to qualify for UNICAL 2026 admission:

- UNICAL must be your first choice of institution on the JAMB CAPS portal.
- You must have scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
- You must have at least five (5) credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in your O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
- Your O’Level results must not be more than two (2) sittings.
- You must be at least 16 years old to be considered for UNICAL 2025 admission.
If you are a Direct Entry candidate, you must also meet requirements 1, 3, 4, and 5 listed above.
In addition, you must have a strong grade or merit in your National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), JUPEB, IJMB, or any other recognised Direct Entry degree.
