• JAMB will only offer you admission after RSU has recommended your name on the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

1. RSU Merit Admission List

RSU Merit admission list is also known as RSU First Batch Admission list, and it contains the names of candidates with the highest JAMB and departmental aggregate score.

RSU second, third, and supplementary admission lists contain names of candidates who:

• Did not upload their O’Level results early
• Did not meet RSU merit cut-off mark
• Were narrowly omitted during the first batch of admissions
• Have been offered admission through VC list

3. RSU VC admission list

During the 2025 JAMB Policy Meeting, JAMB stated that VC Admission list is illegal but still operational in Nigeria.

However, before any university can use the 10% exemption mode, it must first admit 90% of students through the standard admission process.

This means that RSU VC Admission List is usually the last to be released.
