The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has activated portal for the conversion of 2025 UTME to Direct Entry (DE).
This means candidates who initially registered for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) but now wish to switch to Direct Entry can begin the process online.
This update is for candidates who may have obtained additional qualifications such as National Diploma (ND), NCE, IJMB, JUPEB, or other A’level certificates after registering for UTME and now want to gain admission through Direct Entry.
To be eligible for the conversion of 2025 UTME conversion to Direct Entry, you must:
- Originally registered for the 2025 UTME
- Possess valid A’level qualifications such as ND, NCE, IJMB, JUPEB, or equivalent
- Have not yet been offered admission through UTME
To convert 2025 UTME to Direct Entry on JAMB Portal, visit any JAMB-accredited CBT to complete the conversion online.
